Transport

We provide a shuttle to & from:

Poitiers Train station: 1.15 ride from Paris Montparnasse or Chabanais train station via Angouleme.
Limoges Airport: flights from Stanstead and Gatwick during the summer months. Other arrangements can always be discussed.

Pricing

Our vacations are available for 5-14 guests – prices vary depending on length of stay and types of activities chosen. Some activities may be altered of exchanged at the teachers (and weathers) discretion.

Pamper & Pilates Get-Aways are designed for a 3 night stay, 3 course dinners, 2 light lunches of picnic, 2 luxury breakfast or brunch, refreshments & snacks plus treatments & classes in packages. Starting at € 960. Coordinated shuttle service may be included. Solo weekend and small groups prices vary.

Availability

Spring is a wonderful time in Confolens with flowers and lush greens.

Often weather permits swimming in June through September. July and August is high season with UK and European vacationers.

Autumn usually provides an Indian Summer for those who prefer less heat.

Val Rocas usually closes its doors for the deep winter to remodel and renovate further yet workshops and theme vacations can be planned.

The hosts were unbelievably friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about all the fun things to do in the area. We stayed for a week and loved it. Katja and Hans are exceptionally warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Katja is an amazing cook and made all the meals feel like little celebrations. The rooms are vintage and cozy but charming and everything functions. The nearby town of Confolens has just about everything you could need. Within a 10-20 min drive, there are great possibilities for hiking and eating. The garden is huge and peaceful with lots of trees and bound by a river, great for an after-meal stroll.
